We are a non profit NGO striving to help increase quality of life of people with Lupus as our vision.
We develop 4 pillars to achieve the care for Lupus programs vision i.e. to improve quality of life of people with Lupus:
1. Support group targeted for Lupus patients (information, mental & spiritual and financial)
2. Education and socialization for public, medical professional, media, government, etc. (awareness campaign, books publishing, training, knowledge center)
3. Drug distribution: providing access for basic Lupus medications across Indonesia

We realize there are 2 challenges factor, there are internal and external.
Internally:
- We are focusing on recruiting and developing human capital.
- We should also breakdown each pillars into some intermediary programs which are implementable within a determinate time line
- Upon the above program we should be able to convince external stakeholders to raise fund for funding the programs
Externally:
- We are facing uncertainty such as regulatory issues, government priorities, as well as competing with other social activities in raising fund.
We, however optimistic, when we understand the challenges we should be able to find ways through out of the box thinking to overcome those challenges.
There are 4 pillars in our model to achieve the care for Lupus programs vision i.e. to improve quality of life of people with Lupus:
1. Support group targeted for Lupus patients (information, mental & spiritual and financial)
2. Education and socialization for public, medical professional, media, government, etc. (awareness campaign, books publishing, training, knowledge center)
3. Drug distribution: providing access for basic Lupus medications across Indonesia
4. Lupus Center: pilot project for specialized clinic and research center which could be duplicated in other area or places.
The above 4 pillars stand on the strong PARTNERSHIP among the stakeholders. It is then the foundation challenge to build a carrying based partnership to accomplish the mission.
Several programs that have been carrying out in the first decade has developed trust and credential to further support SDF's activities.
The following has been increasing locally:
1. Public awareness and knowledge about Lupus
2. Patients and families know where to go to get advise and support
3. Government attention and support
4. Encourage Lupus patients in other area to establish support group
5. The number of doctors who care and give attention to Lupus patient
6. Early diagnosis and prompt treatment
Our peers are other similar support group in some other big cities in Indonesia, who could be working together to achieve similar objectives.
Our competitors are other organization supporting rare disease and other social activities in competing source of public financing as well as competing government's attention and priority.
